Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all aspects related to project management, financial performance, tracking, and forecasting, scheduling, and change order management.

Establish and maintain outstanding customer relationships, ensure project goals are met, execute best practices, and adhere to policies and procedures.

Manage large-scale projects and groups of other Project Managers, demonstrating expertise in managing projects, people, and processes.

Required

Proven experience in managing large-scale electrical project portfolio with single projects exceeding $10M in total

Excellent understanding of costs, revenue, billings, projections, margin, gains, fades, commitments, AR, AP, etc.

Proficient in change order estimates, identifying scope and scope gaps, coordinating vendor and sub quotes and scopes, negotiating change orders with customers

Proficient in scheduling work, integrating with the GC’s schedule, understanding and experience with pull planning, creating, resource loading, and analyzing critical path schedules, understanding work breakdown structures, working closely with Project Superintendent to ensure deadlines are met

Comfortable with establishing and maintaining customer relations, understanding the balance between protecting the Company and maintaining relationships with clients

Proven experience in managing people, being a consummate example of Leadership, effectively delegating, understanding strengths and weaknesses of team members, developing/coaching/mentoring direct reports, establishing effective communication between field and office personnel, grooming personnel for growth opportunities, enabling and empowering people to accept new challenges

Proven experience in managing processes, working within systems with documented processes and procedures, establishing discipline and controls to ensure adherence to best practices, tracking status of scope/schedule/cost for all projects

Knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools for developing, budgeting, scheduling, and managing projects

Knowledge of electrical construction process

Skill to interface with clients and customers, assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve problems, satisfy or exceed expectations resulting in new business generation

Skill to produce and maintain a project schedule with critical path and planned float

Ability to interpret complex construction drawings and specifications

Ability to use MS Office Programs, and general computer platforms (MS Outlook, MS Project, AutoDesk, ConEst, and Spectrum)

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience

Ten (10) years of electrical construction project management experience

Seven (7) years of experience successfully managing and completing single projects over $10M in size within planned scope, schedule, and cost, with positive customer satisfaction experience

Strong knowledge and understanding of electrical practical installation processes
