Responsibilities
Serve as the primary technical lead on projects that contain moderate to highly complex environments
Develop and implement project plans within budgetary, schedule and resource constraints
Capture, analyze, decompose and create requirements for systems, products and subsystems of moderate to high complexity
Analyze and recommend contemporary and emerging technologies for deployment across the global network system architecture
Devise technical product roadmaps depicting the steps anticipated to migrate from the current state to the targeted future state
Deliver cost efficiencies by migrating the product portfolio over time towards a common target architecture
Ensure that design and development work undertaken by others within the Engineering team is aligned to the approved technical architecture for a given project/program
Author, review and maintain documentation during all phases of the system design life cycle as appropriate and specified within documented process and procedure

Required
Expert level knowledge and demonstrated proficiency of network infrastructure concepts and techniques in a large, complex, internetworked LAN/WAN and cloud-based environments
Experience providing solutions and implementing infrastructures requiring 100% availability, near zero latency, low jitter, and response times
Configuration, implementation, and installation of various Cisco networking devices and services
Cloud technologies, processes, and providers are essential
Connecting to, leveraging, and internetworking with multiple cloud service providers and infrastructure
Design experience with AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure services is essential
Experience with cloud tools and management systems such as: OpenStack, CloudStack, vCloud Automation Center, vCloud Director
Experience with management and maintaining WAN connections between multiple remote offices, Cloud presence (AWS, Azure), and several primary datacenter managed by several different owners
Hands-on systems level understanding and an ability to learn and apply new concepts and technologies quickly
