Responsibilities
Design plumbing and fire protection systems including domestic hot & cold water, drainage, natural gas systems, and various fire protection systems under professional engineer guidance.
Perform system design calculations and analyze plumbing and fire protection system options using industry standard engineering and hydraulic calculation software.
Be familiar with relevant building codes and standards.
Prepare design documents such as plumbing and fire protection systems in basis of design report, drawing (Revit), and specification in coordination with Senior Plumbing / Fire Protection Engineer and project Principal.
Coordinate work with architects and engineers of other disciplines.
Manage personal tasks for technical accuracy and timely delivery, liaising with Senior Plumbing / Fire Protection Engineer and project team.

Required
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
3-7 Years as a Plumbing/Fire Protection design Engineer
Proficient in AutoCAD & Revit
Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam with intent to become a Professional Engineer
Preferred
LEED and/or Well accredited professional
