Responsibilities
Lead strategy and architecture development for React/Typescript/Node.js code base
Collaborate on fast-iterating delivery of feature requirements
Make impactful hands-on code contributions across the full stack
Manage and grow the development team and external dev partner
Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Identify opportunities to enhance technology and innovate

Required
7+ years of experience in professional web application development
2+ years of direct people management experience (additionally, experience managing external development resources) in a startup environment
Extensive experience developing and deploying public-facing React applications to mobile production environments
Extensive experience in developing and architecting scalable backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript
Experience architecting systems that utilize real-time data streaming and messaging
Experience with architecting and deploying complex cloud solutions on GCP, Azure, AWS, and/or Firebase
Experience in supporting and leading teams in Agile methodologies and technologies
Strong understanding of API development and integrations
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent foundational technical experience)
Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Firestore
Experience with CSS, animation frameworks, and responsive design
