Responsibilities
Assist in creating, designing, and implementing processes for accurate data collection and input.
Maintain department database and provide ongoing training to end users.
Gather, analyze, and report statistical information and patient outcomes.
Provide monthly departmental reports and ensure timely regulatory reporting completion.
Make recommendations for technology and processes to support department goals, emphasizing regulatory compliance.
Complete or assign other data requests.
Communicate results of queries and upgrades to coworkers and management.
Work with physicians, clinical staff, and management on data queries and requests.
Troubleshoot technical support issues.
Perform statistical analysis and prepare reports on productivity, quality activities, and trends.
Conduct routine data processing and implement quality control methods.
Develop standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Participate in performance improvement programs and clinical data analyses.
Collaborate with Technology on software system proposals and enhancements.
Identify learning needs, seek continuing education opportunities, and update individual development plan.

Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, physics or related field
Three years in data analysis, preferably in a healthcare/research setting
