Responsibilities

Leads tasks in the analysis of new products from concept level following applicable regulatory and industry standards and customer requirements.

Generates FEA models and to simulate product function, validate requirements, and prove out concepts.

Leads the review and release of structural, thermal, dynamic, and performance analysis for design validation. Interfaces effectively with applicable internal resources analysis teams.

Supports failure analysis investigations for Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) projects.

Communicates effectively with internal and external technical and program leadership teams, and to middle management audiences (external and internal).

Required

>5 years FEA analysis experience in the Aerospace industry.

Knowledge of Solidworks (CAD).

Expertise in ANSYS Workbench, for static structural and dynamic modeling.

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
