Responsibilities
Understand complex user needs and design intuitive platform experiences for a new teacher-facing curricular platform.
Manage the design of internal tools related to content management.
Lead and manage a UX/UI designer focused on enhancing existing platforms.
Shape best practices within the Product Management/Design/Engineering trio in terms of communication, documentation, and workflow management.

Required
5+ years leading the UX/UI design of web technology used by teachers
2+ years experience in a management role
Experience triangulating design needs in collaboration with a Product Manager and Engineering team within an Agile methodology
Fluent in Figma for hifi mockups and prototyping
Strong understanding of and ability to incorporate accessibility into your work, including 508 compliance and WCAG 2.1 AA
Deep empathy for K–12 teachers
Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
