Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze financial data to drive improvements.

Generate various financial reports for management.

Maintain operational data accuracy and integrity.

Provide financial analysis on operational results and trends.

Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting.

Assist in budget preparation and review.

Manage month-end closing processes and general ledger reconciliation.

Establish effective communication with team members and management.

Review and optimize daily processes for workflow improvement.

Provide audit support and assist in compliance activities.

Resolve finance-related issues with minimal supervision.

Required

BS. in Business with an emphasis in Finance and/or Accounting with five years of experience in accounting and finance

6 months + years of progressive Financial Analyst experience

experience with ERP systems and Excel

Team player with a proactive, positive attitude and a strong sense of self-motivation, accountability, and responsibility

Ability to analyze financial data, identify and explain variances to forecast, and use the analysis to forecast going forward

Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities using strong organization and prioritization skills

A high degree of integrity while working with confidential information discreetly and appropriately

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on attention to detail balanced with a big-picture focus

Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP

Ability to read, understand, and interpret financial data with an understanding of GAAP and regulatory requirements as well as company policies, procedures, and internal controls

Ability to identify and research accounting issues independently and communicate conclusions effectively both verbally and in written form
