Responsibilities
Analyze, evaluate, test, recommend, customize, and provide technical support for the telephony network hardware and software products.
Lead install and the implementation of Cisco VoIP hardware and software.
Lead and analyze network hardware and software historical data and traffic pattern reviews to improve network performance.
Design network topology and work with staff to implement.
Develop and implement dialing and network routing strategy.
Lead and execute VoIP network troubleshooting, implement system upgrades, perform strategic planning, and tactical disaster recovery.

Required
Four (4) years of full-time equivalent work experience in an enterprise voice network management environment architecting, engineering, and integrating telephony solutions.
Experience in at least three (3) of the following voice technology related areas: Advanced Voice Network Architecture or Configuration, Telephony and Data Infrastructures, VoIP Telephony Equipment, SIP Trunking/TDM Trunking, North America Dial Plan, Telephone system programming, Experience with Cisco VoIP, Telephone N11 Short Codes / 911 operational and interoperability knowledge.
Sixty (60) semester (90 quarter) units of completed college-level courses in programming, information systems, computer science, software engineering, or a closely related field.
Specialized technology courses or certificated programs with 450 hours of classroom instruction (equivalent to one year of college level education) is acceptable, must have 900 hours.
Preferred
Experience in Telephony and Data Infrastructures, Cisco UCS servers, VMWare, UCM, Unity Connection and UCCE, Networking.
Strong leadership, problem solving and analytic skills are highly desirable.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills, a team player with the ability to achieve goals through influence, collaboration, and cooperation.
