Responsibilities
Developing, analyzing, and optimizing facility processes, including process flow, equipment layout, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maximize output, minimize waste, and reduce cycle times.
Conducting process audits, collecting, and analyzing data, and utilizing statistical tools and techniques to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for optimization.
Developing and implementing process improvement initiatives.
Conducting feasibility studies, process simulations, and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate and select the most suitable process design alternatives.
Developing and implementing quality assurance procedures, including process controls, inspection plans, and corrective action protocols to meet product specifications and quality requirements.
Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions to address process-related quality issues.
Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, including process maps, work instructions, and process control plans.
Providing training and support to operations personnel to ensure consistent adherence to standardized processes and procedures.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance, to ensure effective coordination and implementation of process improvement initiatives.

Required
Bachelor's degree in chemical or paper science engineering.
3+ years of experience.
Prior experience in a manufacturing/industrial/processing facility environment.
Can-do attitude and inspire others to do the same.
Highly motivated, results-driven individual who can also perform well in a team setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
