Responsibilities

Building, operating, and maintaining network devices in Virginia DC

Configuring routing protocols, providing network information, and configuring ports and VLAN extension

Supporting migration from Denver to Richardson DC

Creating complete end-to-end plans for LANs/WANs

Coordinating network environment modifications with other IT departments

Assisting with life-cycle management evaluations and recommendations

Performing fault isolation and resolution in a methodical manner

Designing and operating networks using routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, etc.

Installing, configuring, and maintaining Cisco switches Catalyst 9000 Series and Nexus

Utilizing network management applications and protocols like SNMP, Netflow, SolarWinds, etc.

Providing support for change control after hours and weekends
