Responsibilities

Develop and implement projects and initiatives to support UCSF's diversity, equity, and inclusion mission.
Manage projects under the formation of a Center for Racial Justice in Health and Science.
Engage and collaborate with DEI and Anti-Racism leaders and community partners.
Provide programmatic support to ODO's key initiatives.
Coordinate events planning, scheduling, and meetings.
Assist with process development, budgeting, and other administrative tasks.

Required

Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Minimum three years project management experience in the workforce
Foundational understanding of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion issues
Knowledge of common organization- or research-specific and other computer application programs such as Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality.
Analytical / problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.

Preferred

Project Management Professional Certification
Strong skills in analyzing, researching and synthesizing large amounts of data for preparing sound and relevant proposals / analyses.
Strong policy analysis techniques.
Knowledge project management or work management platforms softwares such as SmartSheet, Asana.
