Responsibilities

Join an Agile program responsible for the development, maintenance, security, and operational support of new and existing applications for a federal customer.
Develop open source, microservice-based applications in an AWS environment.
Write and maintain unit and integration tests for all new and changed code.
Demonstrate and explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Communicate with both customers and teammates and provide recommendations for improvements to existing software applications.
Participate in planning, refinement, estimation, design, retrospective, and technical demo meetings.

Professional ExperienceResidence in U.S.DHS EODCommunication

Required

At least 5+ years of relevant professional experience
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
Residence within the U.S. for three (3) of the past five (5) years, and current residence within the U.S.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD (Public Trust) – existing Public Trust desired

Preferred

Will collaborate closely with all team members including other developers, quality assurance engineers, business analysts, and designers to shepherd product backlog items from inception through production deployment.
Possess excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
