Responsibilities

Monitors, analyzes, and detects cyber events and incidents within information systems and networks under general supervision.
Assists with integrated, dynamic cyber defense, coordinates and maintains security toolsets, and establishes a framework for measuring cyber risk.
Determines security requirements, evaluates business strategies, conducts system security and vulnerability analyses, and implements security systems.
Verifies security systems, maintains security compliance, conducts incident response analyses, and develops training programs.
Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and integration of DoD IA architectures and systems for computing, network, and enclave environments.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field
One of the following certifications required: AWS Certified Developer-Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associtate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Professional, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator-Associate, Certified Kubernetes Adminstrator (CKAD), Elastic Certified Engineer, Elastic Certified Obervability Engineer
Fourteen (14) years of experience in software development/engineering
Ten (10) years experience in system engineering/architecture
Ten (10) years experience working with products that support highly distributed, massively parallel computation needs such as Hbase, Hadoop, Acumulo, Big Table, Cassandra, Scality et cetera
At least ten (10) years experience writing software scripts using scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Ruby for software automation
At least four (4) years of experience managing and monitoring large Cloud System
Experience in performing and providing technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complete hardware/software systems to include monitoring technical health of a system, improving organizational processes, implementation of postmortem (failure) analysis and incident management
Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
Required: ElasticSearch, AWS, and System Admin or DevOps experience

Preferred

Master's degree in a Technical Field
AWS Commercial Cloud experience
Elastic Experience (AWS cloud or other)
Puppet/SIMP experience
