Responsibilities
Work cross-organizationally to implement test practices, troubleshoot issues, and track defects
Define and execute Test Strategies and Plans across multiple teams
Participate in technical governance and negotiate product quality standards
Coordinate testing activities, conduct QA analysis, and support testing activities
Set automation strategies, build frameworks, and ensure automation is running effectively
Design and implement test data management and service virtualization strategies
Drive continuous integration and deployment strategies
Support training of QA Testing Resources in Agile Testing Practices and Automation

Required
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering or related field and 6+ years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
5+ years of strong, demonstrable experience working as software developer or SDET using Java programming language
5+ years experience in developing or influencing the development of automated testing framework(s) for enterprise level functional and regression testing is preferable
Experience with one or more programming language JAVA (Spring Boot)and advance features use of java 11.
Experience with REST API service testing using tools, POSTMAN, JMeter, MABL
Strong programming, debugging/troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience testing spring batch jobs which are used to schedule/trigger jobs
Experience testing and validating messaging queues using rabbitmq,, WFM, Kafka or other enterprise messaging platforms.
Experience in BDD,TDD or ATDD design techniques.
Exposure to different Test data management techniques and tools.
Expertise in database querying, data manipulation and population using SQL in SQL Server
Experience with CI /CD tools like Github, Bamboo, Bit Bucket, Shell Scripting/Powershell, Splunk is required.
Working knowledge of Agile, Iterative development process and/or Rational Unified Process development methodologies and performance engineering
Team player with excellent communication skills (oral and written) to partner technically with Application Architects, Development, QA/Testing organizations and Business teams.
Motivation and passion to stay on top of new and emerging test and automation technologies and able to provide direction to test teams
Passion for building solutions through automation, driven by innovation and commitment to lifelong learning
Practical knowledge and use of Design Patterns (Strategy, Factory, Singleton etc)
Experience using ‘git’ as source control system (cherry-pick, merge conflict resolution should be second nature to you)
Familiarity with OpenAPI specifications and contract-first testing practices
Experience working with acceptance test-driven development (ATDD) or Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Gherkin languages like Cucumber
Comfort with the Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence)
Preferred
Ability to effectively persuade, negotiate and influence all levels of staff; excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills
Experience in UI automation using Saucelabs, Selenium, Mabl or any other open source automation tools
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions whenever necessary
Experience mentoring junior level engineers a strong plus
