Responsibilities
Conduct fit up and layout inspections on in-process machined and fabricated items based on relevant drawings, specifications, and traveler/work order requirements.
Carry out final dimensional inspections on finished machined and fabricated items according to the relevant criteria.
Utilize Faro Arm for inspections when deemed necessary.
Perform visual weld inspections on items.
Organize 3rd party inspections when needed.
Generate written inspection reports, feature/weld maps, and as-built drawings as per work order specifications.
Engage regularly with the quality manager and fabrication team to address and resolve any quality non-conformances.
Ensure calibration and functionality of inspection equipment.
Maintain records of welder continuity.

Required
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficiency in blueprint reading.
Sound knowledge of geometry.
AWS CWI certification is required.
Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel for report generation.
Preferred
Prior experience with Faro Arm.
