Responsibilities
Conduct a variety of analytical activities including collecting, aggregating, organizing, cleaning, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on qualitative and quantitative data sets related to Client’s mission.
Collaborate with Client’s staff to assess problems, determine analytics needs, and propose optimal solutions.
Apply advanced statistical methods and models to describe, analyze, synthesize, and interpret datasets.
Develop new datasets from multiple sources and large databases, selecting and joining appropriate tables and variables.
Produce data reports to support clinical research the Client’s policy initiatives, responding to stakeholder requests.
Provide technical presentations and demonstrations of data analyses and findings to leadership and stakeholders.
Review sensitive financial and grant-related data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Monitor data quality, identifying and resolving deficiencies, errors, and anomalies.
Conduct risk impact analysis based on data insights, providing actionable recommendations.
Perform statistical analysis using common statistical methods and statistical computing packages such as R, SAS, SPSS, MATLAB, and STATA.
Serve as a subject matter expert on grants data and database structures, conducting training sessions as needed.
Propose methods to enhance data efficiency and standardization, automating manual processes where possible.
Prepare datasets for publication and maintain required documentation according to industry standards.
Contribute to the design and implementation of knowledge-based solutions to broaden data utilization and ensure access throughout the data lifecycle.
Develop original and engaging data visualizations using tools like Qlik, PowerBI, or RShiny.

Required
Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related roles.
Proven expertise in statistical methods, machine learning, and data visualization.
Proficiency with programming languages such as R, Python, SQL, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-experts and leadership.
Experience in managing and analyzing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and adapt to changing project requirements.
Preferred
Knowledge of healthcare or biomedical research data is a plus.
