Responsibilities

Provide reporting support and analysis to internal staff for external and internal support

Serve as the customer report analysis expert for assigned department

Maintaining close contact with departmental leadership from multiple departments, (including Analytics and Market Executives to respond to market needs)

Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports

Pull data from various places, organize and analyze it while looking for trends, inconsistencies, and ways to improve the business

Use business intelligence (BI) tools and software to create reports and data visualizations to help communicate the data in a way that everyone can understand

Automate day to day business processes for routine file manipulations and reporting

Manipulate extracted data from SQL, Access, Excel, and Tableau, and create reports that will be presented to leadership on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Review data to identify enhancements and/or changes for improving current solutions

Evaluate and complete requests for enhancements, modifications or special reports

Developing solutions based on your analysis

Creating data flow and process flow diagrams to understand overall process and recommend improvements

Assisting with ad hoc reports, process management and other tasks as assigned

Interpret and analyze large amounts of data from multiple sources and tell a meaningful story

Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in reporting and analytics

Required

5+ years of Data Analytics and Reporting experience

3+ years of experience with Tableau, Alteryx, R

Ability to use SQL and Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs and charts

Healthcare experience within payer and provider

Reporting and process automation experience using R, Python, Alteryx or Power Automate

Preferred

Proven attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and excellent organizational skills

Solid written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to stakeholders

Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions

Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results

General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow
