Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and manage potential sales opportunities through the pipeline
Develop strong relationships with potential and existing clients
Schedule and conduct account reviews, coordinating with other Switch divisions as necessary
Understand clients’ IT initiatives to provide tailored solutions
Communicate regularly with clients, sharing company news and initiatives
Identify new sales opportunities and oversee the entire lifecycle, including negotiations
Act as an escalation point for client issues, advocating for resolution
Utilize Salesforce for documenting relationships and activities
Conduct data center tours and stay updated on industry trends
Maintain a positive and professional image of Switch in client interactions
Manage personal social media presence reflecting Switch’s values

Required
Deep business acumen with extensive knowledge of the data center industry
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proficient decision-making, which promotes Karma-based outcomes
Self-motivated professional with a focus on continuous learning and collaboration
Strong organizational skills, along with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently
Engaged team player who thrives on supporting others in pursuit of a collective goal
Possible travel up to 10% of the time
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3+ years of B2B client service or sales experience, preferably in the technology or data center industry
Preferred
Candidate located in Las Vegas, NV, Tahoe Reno, NV, Grand Rapids, MI, Atlanta, GA, or Austin, TX
Experience using Salesforce and/or other CRM platforms
