Responsibilities
Manage purchases and logistics once a PO has been issued to a vendor.
Follow up with vendors to confirm shipment statuses and ETAs.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to enable a smooth logistics process.
Recognize potential import, export, and other trade compliance issues, and identify solutions.
Review vendor quotes and determine specific logistics needs for different equipment purchases.
Resolve conflicts between company, Vendors, Freight Forwarders, and Contract Manufacturers.
Provide regular order updates to end users summarizing current order statuses.
Track shipment statuses to ensure timely delivery, obtain proof of delivery, and confirm receipt with end users.
Identify weaknesses in processes, recommend improvements, and document process changes.
Initiate logistics-specific Purchase Requisitions.

Required
Experience with end-to-end order processes including Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Logistics, and Invoicing.
Strong experience in Logistics.
Understanding of incoterms and import/export regulations.
Understanding of Freight processes and Transportation Chains.
Experience in project management.
Preferred
BA/BS degree and 2+ years of industry experience
