Responsibilities

Work in cross-functional teams on a portfolio of digital products to enhance customer experiences and facilitate enjoyable interactions using digital and web media.
Research, design, and deliver digital experiences that align with the wider customer experience blueprint for the museum.
Collaborate with product managers to identify new product opportunities, validate assumptions through user testing, and design user interfaces and information architecture.
Develop proof-of-concepts, wireframes, and prototypes, and analyze usability testing and digital analytics results to provide recommendations for modifications.
Lead in delivering customer journey maps, user flows, sitemaps, wireframes, usability testing, and stakeholder workshops.
Conduct stakeholder interviews, user requirements analysis, conceptual modeling, and communicate research findings and design ideas effectively.
Collaborate with visual/interaction designers and engineering teams to ensure the delivery of design specifications.

Required

United States Citizenship
Participation in the e-Verify program
Compliance with Selective Service registration requirements
Specialized experience designing digital experiences for a museum or cultural institution
Knowledge of public-facing media design and development
Knowledge of IT principles, concepts, and functions
Ability to manage all aspects of a program, including design, research, administration, and content creation
Undergraduate and Graduate Education in relevant fields such as commercial art, fine arts, art history, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, photography, visual communication, or related fields
Advanced training in a vocational school, technical institute, or art institute in relevant fields
Experience in visual communication of information or the application of the principles of artistic design
