Responsibilities
Develop and own process engineering deliverables for modular process units such as biomass gasification, oxy-combustion, supercritical CO2 power generation, CO2 purification and liquefaction, and wastewater treatment.
Participate in conceptual studies through plant commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting.
Manage EPC process engineering efforts during detailed engineering and construction phases.
Conduct process hazard analysis (PHA) and HAZOPs.
Support conceptual and feasibility studies with cost estimates.
Develop control narratives and operating procedures.
Review detailed piping and equipment design with multidisciplinary teams.
Ensure successful project execution by coordinating engineering teams.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar
5 years’ experience in process engineering
Excellent understanding of chemical engineering principles, and broad understanding of downstream discipline requirements (mechanical, civil, electrical, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and deliver successful projects
Preferred
Experience in a startup or agile development environment
Hands-on field troubleshooting and/or operations experience
Experience in power generation, gasification, supercritical CO2, or other high pressure (100+ bar) system design
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
