Responsibilities

Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for a line of inverters used in large off-highway vehicles.

Collaborate with project leaders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable tasks for the software team.

Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, write user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Lead sprint planning sessions, monitor team progress, address roadblocks, and ensure timely delivery of features.

Define and enforce quality standards for embedded controls systems, work on testing and validation procedures.

Identify and implement process improvements for the team, stay updated with industry trends.

Maintain documentation of product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications, provide regular updates to management.

Required

BS/MS in EE/CompE/CS

At least 5 years of combined experience with embedded software systems, preferably in the transportation or off-highway heavy equipment industry

Knowledge of power inverter theory, operation, and end use applications

Experience working within an Agile methodology

Ability to consider system architecture design criteria affected by user, software, and hardware requirements

Understanding of common verification and validation concepts, including functional, performance, regression testing, positive and negative test cases, etc
