Responsibilities
Collect and record data related to patients' medical history, treatment outcomes, and practice operations
Ensure accuracy and completeness of collected data
Organize and maintain data in spreadsheets, databases, or other data collection software
Analyze collected data and prepare reports or summaries for healthcare professionals
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify data collection needs and priorities
Stay updated on data collection best practices and technology advancements
Maintain the confidentiality and security of patient and practice data

Required
Prior experience as a Data Collection Specialist or in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or medical research setting
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and recordkeeping
Proficiency in data collection methods and software
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheets and data analysis tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of data privacy regulations and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Preferred
Experience working in a healthcare setting, particularly in ophthalmology or medical research
