Responsibilities

Provide expert strategic support to the HCI team on project management and financial analysis and reporting.
Evaluate HCI processes and systems to maximize efficiency and eliminate duplication of efforts.
Develop and manage financial reporting for the HCI team, ensuring transparency and traceability of project spending versus budgets.
Direct special projects, assimilate data, and provide management information reports.
Act as a business analysis team leader for projects, advising on new processes to improve operations.
Collaborate with HBX staff, monitor program financials, and participate in strategic planning processes.
Survey and analyze data information management systems, processes, methods, and procedures.
Manage contractors and vendors, facilitate contract payments, and participate in system enhancements.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, officials, and organizations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required

Mastery knowledge and understanding of the Agency's mission, functions, operations, policies, procedures, and overall programs, sufficient to serve as the principal liaison between HCI and HBX’s Chief Financial Officer.
Mastery knowledge and understanding of HBX business operations and systems, as required to provide expertise and leadership pertinent to the formulation, documentation, and definition of systems scope and objectives.
Mastery knowledge of a range of qualitative and quantitative methods to examine data trends over time to help identify patterns and potential issues in program performance or financial management and for the improvement of complex management processes, and system policies
Extensive experience in financial planning and coordinating multiple projects and project activities simultaneously that involve a combination of priorities. Demonstrated ability to assimilate information from a variety of sources, analyze/synthesize information, and to recommend courses of action to be taken.
Mastery knowledge of and skill in problem-solving and strategies and management to conduct in-depth research and analysis, and to establish anticipated requirements for completion of work plans, establish project deadlines and program priorities. Mastery of strategic planning concepts, tools, and techniques to analyze HBX program, business, and industry requirements, and to formulate and adapt new policies and procedures as required to improve business system operations.
