Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the CTO and founding engineer to develop maintainable Python/FastAPI backends for the API.

Leverage AWS cloud services to enable a complex workflow engine.

Build backends for a large language model app on AWS cloud.

Work with Front-end engineers and product managers to deliver key backend functionality efficiently.

Required

Self-motivated and accountable, with a penchant for delivering high-caliber software.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Fluent in English, the master of technical communication for design, delivery;

5+ year experience in one of the Python Rest Service frameworks such as Django, Flask, FastAPI (we are using FastAPI on our production);

Deep understanding toward ORM and data modeling and management tools SQLAlchemy, Alembic, Pydantic etc.

Past experience on AWS lambda and Stepfunction to manage workflow engine; managing cloud stack through infrastructure as code (IaC) framework such as CDK /

Terraform is a huge plus (we use CDK for our IaC);

Strong background in TDD practice and expert level of driving TDD product building
