Responsibilities
Report to the Sr Manager, Data Science in the Strategy Department
Create foundational reports and knowledge for business purposes
Extract data from back-end databases using scripting languages
Develop clear and concise reports for business users
Utilize SQL and Business Objects reporting platforms to leverage data
Work with internal customers to expand and improve reporting content
Design, create, and maintain a report repository accessible by the business
Translate business needs into report requirements
Drive the collection and refinement of data sources to improve data quality
Ensure internal customers understand results and have access to necessary information
Perform other duties as assigned

Required
Bachelors Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science
3-5 years of experience
Proficient at independently writing SQL statements
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential
Advanced Access and Excel experience
Must be able work effectively across multiple databases with a wide range of reporting tools
Excellent communication skills
Ability to understand and work towards the big picture while also working with IT peers on a very detailed, technical level
Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple projects concurrently
Preferred
Majors/Minors/Certifications in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science
