Responsibilities
Conduct respiratory assessments, including pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis.
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and mechanical ventilation.
Monitor patients’ responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
Provide emergency respiratory support during critical situations.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.

Required
Associate degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
Proficiency in operating respiratory equipment and devices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
