Responsibilities
Estimate project plans to support sales process
Utilize estimating software for pricing different scopes of work
Obtain pricing information from vendors and subcontractors
Draft and send formal proposals to clients
Create job starts in company software once job is awarded
Select vendors and subcontractors, managing costs within margin goals
Create and schedule work, managing production process through onsite supervisors
Communicate scope of work to project supervisors and clients
Effectively communicate with clients on project timelines and progress updates
Problem solve project issues in a timely manner
Provide accurate billing information and assist with collections
Accountable for client satisfaction, project timelines, and profitability

Required
5+ years' experience in construction estimation and project management
Attention to detail
Organizational skills
Time management skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Must work well both independently and as a team
Self-starter with proven ability to exceed goals
Willingness to learn additional skills required
Preferred
Basic knowledge of the construction industry
Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Xactimate
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or other client relationship management software
