Responsibilities
Infrastructure installation and de-installation including racks and ironwork
Cable management of fiber & copper systems
Cable terminations, cleaning, and testing for RJ45, coaxial/BNC, wire wrap, and Fiber Optic Cable
Grounding of HTAP and equipment
Documentation responsibilities using Microsoft Office suite

Required
One to three years of exposure/experience in construction, maintenance, or repair of telecommunications or electronics equipment
Comprehensive knowledge of common communications installations
Theoretical and hands-on knowledge of network devices (routers, switches, etc.) from multiple manufacturers
Ability to install network devices per DISN Implementation Standards
Strong business communication skills (verbal, written, and graphic)
Ability to work in a customer service environment with discretion and professionalism
Preferred
Government network systems experience
Experience in cable running, splicing, and connector exposure
Possession of a basic telecommunications installation tool kit
Ability to obtain a 'Secret' security clearance
Willingness to travel 70% - 80% of the time for installation assignments
Ability to set up and ascend/descend ladders as necessary
Ability to work under sub-flooring
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
