Responsibilities
Obtain all information necessary for preliminary plumbing engineering concepts.
Determine scope and definition of plumbing systems for projects.
Utilize computer programs to design plumbing systems.
Verify code compliance of system designs.
Seek out professional literature for engineering solutions.
Understand the functionality of plumbing system components.
Develop design concepts for plumbing systems.
Determine cost-effective system layouts and sizes.
Perform construction administration tasks.
Prepare CAD drawings or REVIT models and coordinate with other disciplines.
Implement green design practices.

Required
5+ years of plumbing and/or fire protection design
Proficiency with AutoCAD and REVIT
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, FTP share sites, and engineering software related to system designs and load calculations.
Preferred
Bachelor Science Engineering degree from an Accredited University
LEED AP, BD+C, NICET, WELL AP, Green Building Associates Certification, or similar certifications
Experienced in designing either K-12, Higher Education, Public Safety, Healthcare, Multi-family, Theme Park and/or Government Facilities building types.
