Responsibilities
Conduct special studies to analyze financial actions and prepare recommendations for policies and procedures.
Interpret and apply policies, government legislation, and accounting theories.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory agencies.
Oversee and assure financial strategies to ensure compliance with company policy and applicable regulations.
Participate in the development of cost controls, procedures, systems, and forecasting techniques.
Analyze and prepare cost proposals and schedule estimates for review.
Prepare annual budgets or analyze monthly budget to actual variances.
Act as the Financial Liaison on financial systems or financial analytical issues, concerns, and special projects.
Interface with top management for requests for financial data, resolving reports, and compliance issues.
Determine project implementation requirements and strategies.
Coordinate and facilitate the development of project specifications documents.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline
Typically five (5) years financial analysis/planning experience
Preferred
Prefer government contract experience
