Responsibilities
Be responsible for handling incoming calls from patients and agencies related to aged receivables.
Review bad debt, bankruptcy, and deceased patient accounts to ensure appropriate collections and billing protocols.
Review correspondence in the CWF system and take necessary account and document actions.
Review aged accounts with outside collection vendors to ensure appropriate collection activity.
Analyze accounts for legal pursuit by outside collection vendors.
Respond to requests, including researching payments, contractual adjustments, payment arrangements, audits, etc.
Ensure vendor inventories reconcile to SSC systems by completing recons and updating I-Plans and/or placements as needed.
Handle inquiries regarding estate and bankruptcy accounts from patients and/or vendors.
Assist with Medicaid Eligibility vendor reconciliation and manage vendor onboarding and termination process.
Handle all calls, emails, eRequest, and correspondence from collection agencies.

Required
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
At least 1 year of related experience required.
