Responsibilities

Design and implement containerized applications and services.
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams.
Optimize performance and ensure scalability of containerized environments.
Maintain high availability of containerized applications.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.
Monitor and troubleshoot containerized environments.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in containerization and cloud technologies.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of containerization practices.
Ensure security best practices are followed in containerized environments.
Automate deployment and scaling processes.
Document containerization processes and procedures.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project goals.
Implement monitoring and logging solutions for containerized applications.

Required

5 Years of experience with Bachelor's degree; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related fields.
3+ years of experience in containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong working knowledge of Linux/UNIX.
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
Experience with programming languages (e.g. YAML, Java, C)
Work and lead effectively within teams where other team members may be located throughout the country.

Preferred

Active Secret Security Clearance
Able to apply engineering techniques and analytical methods to make recommendations for improvements and provide information and assistance to end-users.
Experience developing in a fast-paced agile environment.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Experience with eQube reporting and integration development tools.
Ability to support multiple projects concurrently based on priority and criticality.
Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results.
