Responsibilities

Analysis of large volumes of data using worksheet and database skills to manipulate, summarize, and select into meaningful information for decision making
Detail analysis and reconciliations
Supporting DCAA Audits
Supporting DCAA auditors onboarding; system needs and training
Mentor and train employees on Northrop Grumman’s ERP Systems (S4 and reporting tools) Work with their team to ensure strong processes and controls are in place and will provide value added services to our partner departments
Partner across the Controller organization and Sector to ensure success of business priorities and outcomes

Required

A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or other related field, and 10 years of relevant experience; OR a Master's degree with 8 years of relevant experience
Excellent computer skills, experience in accounting software, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance
Ability to work on on-site in Redondo Beach, CA telecommuting 2-3 days per week.

Preferred

Excel power user (pivot tables, vlookups, macros, advanced formula writing)
Excellent organizational, prioritization and process improvement skills
Accounting experience in government contracting
GAAP, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) knowledge
Experience with S4 Accounting System (PS/FI/CO modules) and Analysis Office
Resourceful with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to interface with multiple disciplines and varying levels of management
Ability to be granted DoD Secret clearance in future
