Responsibilities

Maintain Prefab Project work flow, deadlines and work flow via written, verbal & Monday’s based management;

Reviews plan center websites and customer bidding lists to generate leads and maintain project database;

Communicates with regional sales managers to coordinate project sales strategies;

Attends all company sales meetings to discuss projects and marketing strategies;

Participates in sales and marketing events as facilitated by the Company.

Supervises and trains assigned personnel to achieve the daily product receiving, storage, material handling, fabrication, shipping, and delivery requirements;

Monitors and directs workflow process in the fab shop to ensure orders are completed correctly and on time via Monday.com project management software;

Write some Eclipse orders for the fabrication department, including material transfers, customer ship tickets, purchase orders etc.;

Resolves customer complaints and disputes in a timely, professional manner;

Ensures maintenance of a clean and safe work environment, as well as safety compliance from all assigned employees;

Responsible for quality control of all orders from the fab shop;

Tracks and accomplishes the necessary maintenance of assigned equipment and vehicles;

Responsible for understanding and teaching safe and efficient techniques for all shop equipment e.g. band saws, drill presses, iron workers, and grinders;

Serves as a backup in the day-to-day team’s responsibilities;

Demonstrates good character and acts as a good role model to ensure that the department provides courteous and valuable service to customers and coworkers;

Other duties as assigned.

Performs material take offs from plans provided to the fab shop;

Prepares bids for customers;

Develops and maintains new and existing product and inventory knowledge by participating in all necessary training, including independent study of product features and benefits;

Participates in educational opportunities, including those offered by vendors such as Evergreen and/or other resources.
