Required

Master’s degree and 2‐4 years experience; or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related area and 3‐5 years experience in the information technology field related to the position’s role.

Working technical knowledge of Ellucian Banner, Databases (e.g., Oracle, MSSQL), Programming languages (e.g., SQL, Java), Reporting Tools (e.g., Argos, ePrint), Document Capture (e.g., Xtender, Hyland, NOLIJ, eTranscript), Scheduling (e.g., Cron, UC4)

Firsthand Experience With Business Requirements Gathering/analysis

Strong understanding of information processing principles and practices

Experience in the operation and analysis of software and standards, as well as data retrieval methodologies

Knowledge of software evaluation principles and practices

Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources

The ability to recognize and resolve system and software-related problems

Work independently and make necessary decisions within department guidelines

Perform multiple tasks concurrently and respond to emergency situations effectively

Communicate technical and complex information both orally and in writing

Preferred

4+ years of equivalent work experience in a position overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software, systems, or products
