Responsibilities

Connect to the jump server

From Jump server, connect to the AWS EKS Blue/Green clusters

Create namespace and RBAC using kubectl commands

Install Swaggerhub admin using Kots CLI commands, if any issues with images, need to edit yaml file with valid images from Jfrog artifactory.

Change the Kotsadm Service from ClusterIP to Loadbalancer, so that Swaggerhub admin UI can access using LoadBalancer URL

Upload the license and air-gap bundle from Swaggerhub Admin UI

Kubernetes objects will generate once upload is done

Validate the Statefulsets, Deployments, Services and Configmaps (if required edit the YAML files with valid images)

Install the Kubernetes-dashboard charts, istio charts and cert-manager (AppViewX) charts using Helm Chart

Create virtual services for istio gateway to access the URLs of Swaggerhub Admin, Swaggerhub Frontend and Kubernetes Dashboard Services

Validate the Certificate with Cert-manager

Update the DNS records in Hosted Zone of Route53 service in AWS shared network account using CFT (Cloud Formation Templates) stacks

Get the credentials from HashiCorp Vault for Mongo and Postgres dbs and create a deployment to extend the lease in HashiCorp vault for every 50 minutes until 90 days.

Attend the troubleshooting sessions with Vendor regarding External DB configurations

Integrate SSO with Swaggerhub application

Raise help tickets in Jira to different teams like AppVieX Team, HashiCorp Team, DB Team, AWS Team to get the integration with Cluster.
