Responsibilities
Applying objective, analytical, and critical thinking to the analysis of complex problems and supporting this analysis with statistical means.
Performing a broad range of studies and projects in areas relating to cost, schedule, and performance analysis, and acquisition costing of disaster and information system modernizations.
Providing authoritative findings, guidance, and recommendations to other analysts and senior counterparts in a clear & cohesive manner.
Developing unique statistical and mathematical tools to solve challenges, problems, and issues.

Required
Understanding the work breakdown structure (WBS), scope of estimate and how to identify LCCE ground rules and assumptions.
Analyzing technical, programmatic, schedule, labor and cost data.
Applying inflation to convert cost to budget, budget to cost and normalize historical data to a common year.
Degree: in operations research; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.
