Responsibilities
Create high-quality motion graphics, animations, and videos aligned with brand and marketing objectives
Perform video editing tasks such as syncing, cutting, color correction, and delivery
Evolve the SimplePractice brand through current trends and best practices
Collaborate with various teams to ensure creative consistency and excellence in deliverables
Optimize visual content for different digital platforms
Sound mix and audio design using stock audio platforms and music
Work within brand guidelines to create video content
Review scripts and project briefs to understand video production requirements
Organize and manage audio/video assets for smooth workflow
Provide on-set VFX supervision when required
Project manage and document progress for visibility across teams
Identify issues and develop solutions/tools for post-production efficiency

Required
5+ years of experience in video editing + motion design in an Agency or In-house capacity
A strong eye for visual composition, pacing and storytelling and sound/music for picture
Proven experience creating videos and motion design across videos of multiple scales
Knowledge and interest in AI video/motion tools is required
Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines and initiates projects without direct oversight
The ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
The ability to effectively take direction and collaborate with creative and art directors, stakeholders, and other members of the team
Growth mindset
Mastery of marketing and brand guidelines and how to tailor creative to fit objectives
Proficient with industry-standard editing software: Adobe CC (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition) and Davinci Resolve)
Preferred
Strong preference to be based in Los Angeles or greater Los Angeles area
Basic knowledge of other programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop
