Responsibilities
Function as the technical expert focusing on wastewater process projects across California and the organization.
Apply advanced engineering techniques and analysis for solution development.
Effectively communicate with all stakeholders and levels.
Manage projects focused on wastewater process including detailed design and project management of civil infrastructure projects.
Design and optimize wastewater treatment processes to maximize efficiency and minimize environmental impact.
Manage projects from planning through construction.
Support business development and identify new water/wastewater pursuits.

Required
7+ years of progressive relevant wastewater experience
Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering. Advanced degree strongly preferred
California Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Wastewater process experience with strong technical knowledge of the water/wastewater industry
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent client service and interact positively with clients
Experience with business development and sales
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Some travel within Southern California to project sites, for client visits/meetings and to other Kennedy Jenks offices will be necessary
Preferred
Design-Build experience a plus but not required
