Responsibilities
Proactively monitor and follow up on Reg B application completeness and Decision close to ensure compliance.
Communicate with Loan teams on outstanding items to understand issues or challenges.
Lead meetings with Lines of business to discuss loans not within compliance.
Monitor the completeness and timeliness of NYS CRA Demographic MWOB (Minority Women Owned Business) form.
Partner with Lines of business on outstanding MWOB forms and ensure system data accuracy.
Monitor and fully understand reporting needed to follow up on outstanding items, with the ability to identify themes and trends.
Develop tracking mechanism for unresolved items.
Interact, lead, and/or support any internal reviews, audits, testing, and/or reviews by First Line (Commercial Risk), Second Line (Compliance Risk Management), and Third Line of Defense (Internal Audit) functions.
Collect and organize credit file documentation for regulatory examinations and external agency evaluations.
Research and assess regulatory requirements impacting the business unit.
Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
