Responsibilities

Develop demand forecasts at various levels of aggregation for different time horizons.

Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and evaluate forecast results.

Provide input for inventory strategies on existing and new products.

Maintain attention to detail and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Coordinate information flow between teams and vendors.

Manage trade-offs and evaluate new ideas with a practical approach.

Work on achieving Fill Rate Goals and provide analysis for strategies.

Establish comprehensive project plans and ensure deadlines are met.

Create a culture of knowledge sharing and increase automation.

Model a Fast, Fun, and Friendly environment.

Required

Bachelors/4 Year Degree

4+ years relevant work experience

Experience working in a Retail Organization

4+ years of business experience in transactional processes & analytics, logistics/ supply chain management, procurement, in stock, logistics, inventory management

Expertise in Inventory management principals and systems

Experience in supply chain planning: allocation, replenishment, operations

Translating data from an array of sources into insights and go-forward recommendations

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work well with others

Strong Excel, SQL and Database skills

This person needs to be adept at manipulating large datasets to derive actionable intelligence

Prior experience with Inventory Management and Replenishment Systems like JDA, Sterling Commerce etc

Preferred

Working knowledge of R and Python will be a plus
