Responsibilities

Develop performant applications using React Native

Develop new features and user interfaces from wireframe models

Ensure the best performance and user experience of the application

Architect, design, develop, test, maintain, and improve software systems

Collaborate with other engineers and team members to determine priorities and best practices, and refine functional requirements

Required

5+ years of experience in delivering working software, Preferably web / React Native applications

Strong communication skills and be a positive team player with a solution-oriented mindset

Strong knowledge of immutability concepts and responsive design

Strong debugging and performance optimization experience

Experience using Source Control (Git)

Write clean, readable, reusable, well-tested code

Preferred

Have experience with streaming technologies (HLS/DASH streaming)

Have experience with TV platforms/10 ft experience (FireTV/Android TV/tvOS/Smart TV platforms)

Have experience working with design system components / shared packages

Stay informed of emerging technological trends and methodologies and propose new processes and technologies to the team

Enjoy working in a fast-moving startup-like environment in which individual contributors are trusted and depended upon to set technical direction
