Responsibilities

Produce quality and maintainable code

Write clean, concise, and maintainable code

Create and sustain applications using Angular

Work with other agile teams to design, build, and deliver cloud-based solutions

Participate in merge requests

Define and enforce development best practices

Automate pain points in the software development process

Contribute to the development of user stories and acceptance criteria

Write automated tests to verify the intent of stories

Support other developers through code reviews and pairing

Coordinate integration testing across multiple teams

Support and improve the overall system

Work closely with business analysts to understand requirements

Participate in design meetings with other projects

Plan and carry out deployments

Investigate data quality issues and errors in applications

Research data sources to expand system usefulness

Provide application programming interfaces (APIs) and services

Support the security posture of the system

Contribute to hardening OS images, applications, and containers

Perform security scans and produce reports

Collaborate with the team and attend agile ceremonies

Facilitate communication and integration across teams

Proven experience with Java, JavaScript, J2EE, Spring Framework, Angular, React, relational databases, Jenkins, Terraform, AWS/GCP, Git, Docker, Gradle, Maven, TDD, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, CI/CD

Required

5+ years of experience in writing and testing enterprise software solutions (A degree in Computer Science and three (3) years of experience is also acceptable)

3+ years of experience in troubleshooting software.

3+ of specific software engineering experience related to front-end and back-end applications and/or data services. (JavaScript and Angular/React)

Experience working in AWS, software containerization and Agile development processes.

Experience in large-scale, high-performance enterprise big data application deployment and solution architecture on complex heterogeneous environments in AWS.

Experience with full stack engineering (defined as proficient in database development/integration as well as server and client application development/integration), including three (3) years of experience deploying production enterprise applications in AWS.

Knowledge of RESTful API-based applications
