Responsibilities

Supervise the construction inspection personnel and ensure construction quality assurance inspection is completed properly and in accordance with contract documents and NYSDOT requirements.

Conduct constructability reviews during preconstruction.

Verify that tests, observations, and inspections are performed as per plans, specifications, and NYSDOT requirements.

Assist in responding to RFIs and review requisitions for equipment and completed work.

Provide field information to design personnel, conduct preliminary review of submittals, and track job progress.

Manage field inspection activities, review field engineer’s reports, and respond to field issues.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, with NYSDOT PE license.

Substantial years of experience in managing DB projects as Quality Assurance Resident Engineer and construction of Infrastructure projects.

Experience with construction elements of bridge projects.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Experience on New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) projects

Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license

10 Hour OSHA
