Hydrogeologist Student Intern

Responsibilities
Assist field geologist with data collection activities at core sites including describing lithology, setting up packer tests, and collecting aquifer and water quality samples
Enter data into databases and spreadsheets, review qualitative data, and edit necessary files
Help prepare reports, generate figures and tables, and assist with other office and field duties as needed

Required
High School diploma or equivalent
Be at least part-time and currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or other recognized educational or vocational program
Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 for undergraduate students or minimum GPA of 3.0 for graduate students
Provide a copy of Official school transcript within 30 days of employment

Valid driver’s license
Preferred
A minimum of nine hours of college-level hydrogeology or water-resource related courses
Bachelors degree in Geology or related field
Participation in a Master's Degree program in hydrogeology
Preferred Degrees: Geology or Hydrogeology
Preferred Degree Level: Undergraduate or Graduate
