Responsibilities

Develop and execute assigned testing scope as prescribed by the Enterprise Data Testing Framework, Testing Stakeholders, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.

Identify and uncover data quality issues, confirm accuracy and completeness of data within Bank systems.

Work closely with test partners and key stakeholders to support testing activities, operate and adhere to established testing frameworks, and establish checks and balance activities to avoid delivery issues.

Communicate and report the testing work being performed, positively influence any resistance received from test partners and data stakeholders.

Utilize analytical and technical skills to execute assigned responsibilities, focusing on sustainability/stability of current state while helping to establish future state processes.

Proactively identify process and procedural enhancements with respect to testing and testing tools, adhere to established testing policies and procedures.

Ensure high quality for, and defend-ability of, all accepted testing data and evidence.

Lead and influence with and without direct authority, navigate conflict to enable productive solutions, pay close attention to detail.

Work on a global delivery model and have a strong understanding/experience on Automation tools.

Contribute to project planning/management, possess basic knowledge of Tableau and/or other reporting tools, and have banking domain knowledge.

Required

5+ years of experience in Independent Testing, Application Management and/or Data Management

Strong data quality knowledge (Accuracy, completeness, timeliness dimensions, data risk mitigation, etc.)

3-5 years of experience developing in Python focused on data applications/analytics/statistics

Technical: ETL, DB development, SQL, Teradata, Quality Center, Macros, Excel/Access, PowerPoint, Perforce

Knowledge of Regulatory Reports (FRR)

Strong understanding of database concepts like (views, primary keys, table joins)

Involvement with Data Transformation and Data Capture testing in Transport and Capture data lifecycle

Practical experience developing applications while adhering Software Development Life Cycle(s) (SDLC)/Coding Standards/JIRA tracking

Strong oral & written communication and comfortable presenting to a wide variety of audiences

Comfortable leading and influencing with and without direct authority

Resourceful/ proactive in situations when not all information is available or there is no apparent “right” answer

Strong understanding / experience on Automation tools (UFT / Selenium etc.)

Capable to navigate conflict to enable productive solutions

Close attention to detail

Experience working on global delivery model

Preferred

Knowledge of BI tools a plus

Knowledge of Trino, Splunk, Hadoop

Experience as part of an Audit organization or a deep history of interactions with Audit (Internal and External)

Strong Project Planning/Management

Basic knowledge of Tableau and/or other reporting tools

Banking Domain Knowledge
