Responsibilities

Overall development responsibilities for all activities from site control to NTP
Identification and selection of potential development sites
Control of development sites and all permitting activities
Managing 3rd party support and development schedule and budget
Lead negotiation and contracting for project services
Develop relationships with suppliers and report to management/client

Required

BS Engineering from an accredited University
Fluent in English preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish desirable
Can-do attitude
Strong communication skills
Strong attention to detail and follow through
Position can be either on-site in the Corporate headquarters in Miami, FL or Houston
Ability to travel extensively to project sites, customer offices, Corporate headquarters, or vendor/contractor office locations
Proficient with all MS Office products
Professional demeanor and the ability to work in a team and collaborative environment
Experienced in every phase of project development including site identification/screening/control, permitting, local approvals, and interconnections
Minimum >5-years energy project development experience
Experience with permitting local approval and interconnection processes
Proven project management skills
Strong focus and understanding of risk management
Experience leading multi-discipline organization
