Responsibilities

Assist with the development and maintenance of live and historical data interfaces from Banner.

Collaborate with staff in Institutional Research, Enterprise Applications, Recruitment and Admissions, Financial Assistance and other enrollment management offices to develop and maintain reporting needs, including statistical models.

Expand sustainable automated processes and interactive reporting capabilities to the university community, including providing training opportunities for end users.

Assist with the continuous improvement of data quality and related audit processes.

Assist with the completion of NCAA and other state, federal and agency reporting.

Strive to master PL/ SQL and other programming languages, Power BI data visualization software, and external resources.

Maintain excellent communication with management and the IR team on all tasks and projects, to include information resource documentation.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Sciences, Information Management, or related field.

Three (3) years of programming experience in PL/ SQL database queries.

Two (2) years of experience building complex electronic reports and statistical models using data visualization programs.

Preferred

Master’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Sciences, Information Management, or related field.

Experience working with Ellucian Banner.

Experience using Microsoft Power BI.

Knowledge of enrollment management process and best practices, including National Student Clearinghouse, US Census and other higher-education data sources.

Proficiency with Office 365, including MS Excel.

Experience with R, Python or other programming languages.

Expertise working in a higher education setting. Experience within an Institutional Research office is a plus.
